Union Ridge Cemetery will hold its annual Memorial Day service on Monday, May 27, 2024.

Gene Salecker will be the guest speaker and he will explain the history of the Purple Heart.

SVR Battery L, 1st Illinois Volunteer Light Artillery with Lt. Rob Hauff will command the Cannon Salute.

Chicago’s own Young Marines will Post and Retire the Colors.

The ceremony begins at 1 p.m. Please arrive early.
